He nodded silently, turning on his heel to leave the room without another word. As soon as he was out in the hallway, he broke in a run to leave the hospital. I can't believe I'm running away. Screw it, I've best inform America about this... I don't want some stupid mistake to haunt me forever. I need someone who's in my court. He dialled America's number as he sprinted off.


America answered the phone on the third ring. "Yo Britain! Whats happening?" he asked.


Back at the hospital Italy was smiling at Japan, Germany and Romano. "Promise you won't hold this against him? It wasn't his fault!"


Still running, Englands panted, "America! I'm afraid I got caught in a bit of a predicament..."

America laughed loudly. "What happened this time?"

England stopped to catch his breath and leant against the wall of a house. "Please... can you pick me up? I'll explain later, but, but..." He inhaled a steadying breath. "I'm two blocks away from the hospital... just... I don't know what to do."


Japan shook his head pitifully.

Germany looked displeased. "Italia, you say that you ate his food willingly. We all know that you cried the last time you did and this time it has hospitalised you. I fear that you are delusional."

Italy crossed his arms and pouted. "But I'm not! And I didn't think I would end up in the hospital... I... I just wanted to make England a little happy." He frowned.

Romano slapped his brother upside the head. "Idiota! Non cercare di compiacere il bastardo inglese. Siete stati quasi ammazzato! Stupido."

Germany frowned. "Italy, we will discuss this later. We will be here when you wake up but this cannot be ignored. England is a mature country and should know that there will be consequences for harming a fellow Nation."

Japan nodded. "Hai. I was once his ally, remember? But he should have known not to cross a line. I agree with Germany, you need some rest."


America paused for a second then sighed. "Alright dude, I'll be right there," he said, hanging up. What could England have gotten himself into...?


Tears sprang into Italy's eyes. "Ma Romano! Egli è mio amico, e non volevo sapere che avrei finito in ospedale! Io non sono stupido..." he said defensively. Looking at Germany he pouted. "He didn't mean to hurt me.. and it is my fault... You guys shouldn't be so harsh on him-" The Italian was cut off by a yawn and he frowned as he started drifting off, struggling to stay awake.


England clutched onto his phone tightly and tried to wait patiently but could not help but pace around in anxiety. Please, please don't let this turn into an international incident... He was finding it hard to breathe as his nerves escalated close to a panic attack. Shit! America, where are you?!


Romano growled. "You are stupid! You allowed the scone bastard into the kitchen! Che cazzo, Veneziano? You should know better than that! Tch."

Germany groaned, running a hand through his slicked-back hair. "Stop blaming yourself, Italia. Ja, you are missing a few marbles but something doesn't add up. It doesn't explain why he was at your house in the first place and I worry what his motives were." He strokes Italy's hair. "Sleep well. We will get to the bottom of this."

Japan's brow creased in thought. "Germany-san. Perhaps we should return to Italy-san's house to investigate the scene? I doubt that either of them would have cleaned up during that crisis and it could give us some clues to assess the situation properly."

Romano scoffed. "I'm not leaving with the Potato Bastard."
